If you are like me, than you can't wait for November 11th. We will finally see an end to 8 long years of the frustrating and sometimes embarrassing policies of the Bush administration.
We are all ready for a change and I believe that change to be Barack Obama and Joe Biden. I have been following Obama since his speech at the DNC in support of Kerry/Edwards. I remember thinking at the time why can't this Barack guy be running for President. Well, four years later, we finally get our chance to show the world that we are better than Bush and maybe gain back some of the international respect that we have lost lately.
This election couldn't come at a more important time in our nations history. From the climate crisis to the financial woes that threaten to collapse the US economy, now is the time to get a leader in the White House that can set things straight. That leader I believe to be Barack Obama.
If you agree, than you can do your part by showing your support for Obama and Biden in 08. This means talking to you family, neighbors and co-workers about why you believe that Barack will make a great President of the United States. You can also purchase some of the great election gear that is featured at obamabidenswag.com. They have Obama T-shirts, Barack Buttons and Obama-Biden Mugs, Mousepads and More!
I decided to create the ObamaBidenSwag blog to keep everyone up to date on the latest products available at ObamaBidenSwag.com and to pass on any other Campaign news that I find interesting. Happy Shopping!

Obama ready to Barack the House!

Now that Barack Obama has the endoresment of John Edwards I think he is ready to Barack the House. The White House that is. Obama has been struggling with the working class vote and Edwards is strong in this demographic, so I think this might finally be the straw that breaks Hillary's back. Clinton says that she will stick this out until all the votes have been counted, but you got to wonder what chance she has of catching Barack Obama.
If you are looking for a unique way to show your support, than check out this great Barack the House design at www.electionswag.com

David Archuleta in American Idol's Top Ten

David Archuleta has made it to the American Idol Top Ten! That means he will be guaranteed to be going on tour with the rest of the American Idol Contestants. Hopefully, the Murray, UT native can make it the whole way to number one. He recently had a shaky performance with the first week of the Beatles songs, but he more than made up for it with his amazing performance of "Long and Winding Road". Randy said, "David Archuleta has brought the hotness back to his game tonight." Paula has always been a huge fan and gave this praise, "This is probably for me the most exciting and wonderful performance." Even Simon had this to say, "The week, I thought you were...amazing."
Archuleta appears to have been bread for this competition. He won Star Search when he was 12 and even got the chance to perform in front of Kelly Clarkson and the rest of the Season 1 contestants that same year. He has the look and personality that draws people in, especially teenage girls (his biggest demographic I'm sure).
For someone so young, he seems to be handling everything in stride and i wish him the best and I think his best might just be good enough to win American Idol. However, he will need your support so make sure you vote for him and advertise with this great t-shirt design. You can also get on this David Archuleta #1 fan design on stickers, buttons, hats, sweatshirts and more!

The Irish side of Barack O'bama

With the Presidential Election and St. Patrick's Day coming up here is an interesting tidbit about Barack.
While the name Obama isn't exactly Irish, you may be surprised to know that Barack Obama may have some Irish roots. According to a Reuters article, the rector for the parish of Moneygall in a small village in central Ireland has come across documents that indicate Barack Obama's great-great-great grandfather might have fled Ireland for New York in 1850. Falmuth Kearney, left Ireland along with millions of other starving Irish to escape the great potato blight on so called "famine ships". Kearney moved to Ohio and finally Indiana where he raised 8 children, one of which is Obama's great-great grandmother.
Therefore, while Barack may have been born to a white mother and Kenyan father in Hawaii, he now can claim Irish decent just like 30 million of his other US countrymen. Barack Obama's heritage epitomizes diversity and that may be just what America needs in a leader right now.
If you what to support Obama's Irish heritage and maybe your own, then check out this great O'bama 2008 design.

Stephen Colbert as Huckabee's Vice President?
Stephen Colbert is finally back on the air. He left the air due to the writer's strike, but with no end in sight most talk show hosts are deciding to give it a go without writers. I have to admit that the show seemed like business as usual without the writers and that is credited to Stephen Colbert's own writing and ability to adlib. Colbert talked about his unsuccessful attempt to run for President, but laid out hope that his presidential aspiration may not be completely over. He replayed clips of Mike Huckabee asking Colbert on several occasions to be his Vice-President. Stephen likes the ring of Huckabee/Colbert which he combined into Huck-Colberty (pronounced Huckleberry). I thought this was very funny and was inspired to create the following new design. Check it out:
